The food of love by Amanda prowse
my first blog for me and I hope you all enjoy it my thoughts on this book

At first I found it hard to get into but once I did I was hooked and it’s about everyday things what others have to deal with and it’s heart breaking I had a few tears as I was reading it to think we all love food and to go through what Lexi was going through and to have a mum who was so into healthy eating and that. It certainly opened my eyes to things I wasn’t aware of and how the parents handled it i know I couldn’t do it myself I think I would’ve fallen to pieces well before the mother did.

Its a book that grab your attention to how to deal with mental illness and mental health everyone always says you wouldn’t know how to deal with mental health issues but as soon as it’s in your family you have to learn quick that’s what I found in this book it gived you an insight to most people’s life’s and touches your heart.

I had tried reading one of ferns books before and couldn’t get into it so when this one is choosen out of my book jar I was a bit dubious in reading it but thought nope I’ll give it a go and then to find out that it’s based in Cornwall and I live in Cornwall myself I thought ohh I could learn a few bits of my home town.

It grabs you from the first page and its lists of twist with affairs and divorce and house buying and moving from one place to the other.And now maybe a love intrest between helen and the vicar could be on the cards always nice to see a new relationship building between people but maybe there could be a marrige and a happy ending but it sounds a bit weird as im reading the vicar sounds a bit creepy to me.

I really cant wait to find out what happens myself. Also that piran sounds really horrible and protective off the vicar. And hates the fact that the vicar and Helen are friends and hang out together.

Really how obnoxious is gray helens ex husband always thinks of himself more than others but am glad he has found his match though. And I was totally wrong about Simon and Helen he isn’t creepy just fell for the wrong person but has now found his happy ever happy.

Piran I think could use some lessons in manners I think but after his tragedy he suffered I can understand why he is the way he is. But I enjoyed the ending of the book won’t spoil it for anyone .

This is my second book of Leigh’s and wish I had found her books way before now. I love how she writes and how much they draw you into the book.

This is the Geraldine steel series and I’m on book nine in the series and to say I haven’t read the first 8 books in the series I am picking up the story easy. I’m loving Geraldine and how she’s handling finding out her real mum has died and that she had a twin sister who is actually the kind of person who Geraldine locks up for drugs and alcohol related crimes. But to actually cope finding out you was adopted and your twin was kept cos the doctors told her mum that the twin wouldn’t live long and would die soon then to define the odds and is now an adult hellbent a druggie but she’s still alive must be hard for Geraldine to get her head round but she’s not letting it effect her work at all.

As well as trying to help her sister as much as she could and deal with grief she obviously was dealing with from losing her birth mum and trying to keep her family and job separate  she nearly ends up losing her job trying to help her sister and has to do a lot of thinking what would she do if she wasn’t a detective but thanks to her colleagues and her friends she’s managed to move on and start a new job still in the police force but means moving towns and that and still be there for Helena who is trying to change am glad how it ended was expecting it to end differently and more sadder but nope it was a nice ending can’t wait to get into the rest of Geraldine Steele books now 

This is my first book of Sharon’s that I’m reading I’m loving how it’s going and how you get a story being written as you go along. A doctor has been put away for murder of three  woman and maybe a fourth woman even though he says he is innocent and didn’t murder anyone the police have found three of the bodies but Wolfe won’t tell them where the fourth one is cos that would mean he was guilty and he didn’t even plead his case.

And all the women what was murdered was big women and there was a group of four men in university who started up a group called the fat club and would get the woman drunk and maybe drugged then film them having sexual intercourse and other things without the woman’s knowledge.

I’m curious on Maggie rose and what’s her plan and why is she so interested in hamish Wolfe and why won’t she let anyone into her cellar and always keeps it locked. I’m loving the suspense on who actually did the killings and who is Maggie talking to when she’s in her home on her own. 

It’s getting better as goes along and now Maggie is representing hamish things are getting more interesting. Maggie is in danger as whoever did kill them woman is now trying to stop Maggie finding out and is killing anyone who Maggie spoken to. This book just got better and better as it went on with loads of twists and turns I would never have thought that could happen and to be shocked as you get to the end and still wanting more even thou the books finished you can’t quite believe that it got you fooled from the first page I’m so happy that I took the plunge and choose this book to read. 

I got this book to review for netgalley and I was dubious when I started to read it but as I got further in I found it’s quite good and hard one to put down.

Well Julie found out what happened to Emma and I wasn’t expecting it to be him really I always thought it was an accident and she slipped but oh no. But am glad he got what was coming to him. But I don’t know if I could live in a house like that myself I like to be a bit messy around my house but each to there own. I’m so happy Julie got her happy ever after and really didn’t like how Edward acted towards his baby and not wanting him cos hes a Down syndrome baby and I think Julie made the right decision in the end this is one book what stays with you as well. 

I got this book for an honest review and of course I thought I’d do a blog on it as I’m loving it and only just started it’s about a young couple who get married then go on honeymoon and they discover the horrible secret about the place and they have no idea that Paul’s ex is watching and following his every move.

I love how they have an discussion on girls bands and singers who they like and dislike just like every ordinary people do and they don’t know what’s in store for them.

I’m loving all the twists and turns in this book and I’m also loving how Paul and Debbie are coping with Paul’s ex wanting revenge for him leaving her and marrying Debbie. 
I can’t wait to find out what all the fuss is over that house what people keep disappearing in. 

Still can’t work out what was with the house and now we won’t get to find out but it stumped me half way through with the house I thought it was something disturbing but it wasn’t and I wasn’t expecting it to end the way it did and I’m hoping there is going to be another with Paul and Debbie in as i would love to now if they got there happy ever after. 

But am glad that Paul’s ex girlfriend got the help she needed. The only one I’m not sure on was that dhara what happened to her and Kim and rest of the people in the town after all the drama with the house. This is one book that makes you really think that anything could happen in life. So happy I got to review this book. 

Oh my god what an excellent book. I can’t understand how that sal can stay with Charlie after everything and how everything has to be perfect or face the consequences. I’ve been told that there is a twist in this book and I won’t notice it when I finish it oh but I did notice it but won’t give it away. 

This book is about a married couple and how one is very controlling and believes they can’t do anything wrong it’s always the other persons fault and its written from both of there sides and one nows it shouldn’t be like this but won’t leave because they want the child brought up with a two parents and not be passed and parcel between them.

I can see how hard a life sal has and I really wish that everything could change and Charlie not be as nasty and downgrading to sal.Oh my god loved the ending and was totally shocked off the twist in it never thought I would read a book from that perspective and I’m really glad I chose to read this book if your ever stuck on a book and want one that would grab you then I would suggest to read this one only took me 2 days to read it. It grabs you from the first page alway to the very last page. 

This is the first series in the Marnie Rome series.

Detective inspector Marnie Rome is a dependable,fierce woman who is good at her job. And after what happened to her parents an how she fought to get back to doing her job. Marnie has her secrets that she won’t share with anyone.

Everyone has secrets that they want to keep quiet about. And certainly the woman in the woman’s shelter. Marnie and detective sergeant Noah jake go to the shelter to interview a woman over a different case but they walk into a different situation.

And if Marnie is going to solve both cases then she is going to have to face her own demons at the same time. 

Well for me a book has to grip me on the first few pages for me to actually finish it and I can quite cheerfully say it grab me from the first page all the way to last page and I’m also sad it has finished can’t wait to read the second one in series.

I was really shocked on how DI Rome didn’t click on as quick as DS jake did to what really happened at the woman’s refuge and if DI Rome had listened then maybe things would’ve been different. 

Hope and Simone had a really bad family past which effected them both deeply and never had therapy to help them which in turn effected how there relationships are with other people and maybe that’s what makes this story believable for the readers to understand why and what they are still going through on a daily basis. 

I saw how DI Rome struggled to cope going to visit her parents murderer even hoping to give herself some closer onto why he did what he did and to understand why. And to even help him when he gets attacked by other inmates even though she would rather be somewhere else than in same room as him. Even going to a house what the same as here parents brought everything back to her but she still carried on regardless of what she was going through. 

I would recommend this book to everyone it’s one book that will leave you wanting more and more every time. 

When erica’s husband joel dies in a tragic accident nobody suspects that erica had anything to do with it.

Erica makes  out that joel is a successful lawyer but hides a terrible secret. Erica meets joel and thinks he is the one and after her failed relationships in the past shes happy shes found the one until they marry and everything changes for her.

I loved this book enjoyed every single page of it and oh my god the ending I didn’t expect that at all didn’t even see it coming I love when a book is written that way totally shocks you to the point you want to scream I don’t believe it. I’m sad that it ended and I really can’t wait to read more of Louise’s books.

This is my first book by this author and I’m loving how it’s written and I can’t wait to find her other books to read. After what happened to pens friends I’m not surprised that she see’s a therapist to help her but she seems reluctant to talk about what happened at university and how it’s effectting her. But she needs to do this for her lawyer and the court case.

And now one of pens friends has been murdered and because of pen spiking her friends drink pens worried she’s going to get arrested for it but cos she thought no one saw her do it she would be fine but that’s what she thinks. Now two friends have been murdered she’s starting to get worried. And then she finds another friend has died but doesn’t tell anyone and then a fire breaks out where her friend was she thinks she’s safe and as nobody mentioned the body she is starting to piece it all together so goes and speaks to the one person she is hoping to tell her the truth and then she witnessed one of her teachers being taken away by police it all comes together. 

She goes back to her room to find a note telling her to go to the roof and that’s where she’s finally gets it he’s done this cos he’s secretly in love with her and thinks he done the right thing till she’s trying to leave university for a different university that the truth is finally revealed and she wasn’t expecting that to happen.
